Job OverviewWe are seeking a versatile and proactive Front Desk & Guest Services Agent to join our hospitality team. This multi-functional role combines traditional front desk reception with hands-on property upkeep, including laundry operations and cleaning. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining a spotless property, and excels at resolving guest issues. Open availability to work across morning, mid-shift, and overnight schedules is required.Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Welcome arriving guests warmly, manage check-in/check-out processes, and use hotel software to handle reservations.
- Guest Issue Resolution: Actively troubleshoot and resolve guest complaints, maintenance issues, or requests with speed and courtesy.
- Laundry Operations: Wash, dry, fold, and restock hotel linens, towels, and bedding to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Property Cleaning: Maintain high cleanliness standards by sanitizing public areas, the lobby, restrooms, and assisting with guest room touch-ups.
- Communications: Manage incoming phone calls, route messages, and provide accurate info regarding local attractions and resort amenities.
- Financial Audits: Conduct accurate night audits during the 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM overnight shift to ensure all daily transactions balance.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate directly with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure overall property excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Scheduling: Full flexibility to work a varied schedule across morning (6am–2pm), mid-shift (2pm–10pm), and overnight (10pm–6am) hours, including weekends.
- Work Ethic: Comfortable balancing stationary desk tasks with physical, hands-on duties like cleaning and processing heavy laundry loads.
- Problem-Solving: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to handle and resolve guest complaints calmly and efficiently.
- Experience: Prior experience in hospitality, front desk operations, cleaning services, or guest relations is preferred.
