What You'll Do
- Manage cases from inception through trial prep on active lemon law matters
- Draft and manage pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
- Work closely with attorneys on case strategy and substantive legal analysis
- Coordinate with opposing counsel, courts, and expert witnesses
- Prepare exhibits, deposition materials, and trial binders when cases go the distance
- Conduct factual and legal research
- Anticipate what attorneys need and flag problems early
What You Bring
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (lemon law, personal injury, employment, or other civil litigation backgrounds all translate well here)
- California civil procedure is second nature
- Real trial prep exposure
- Strong legal writing and drafting skills
- A track record of managing a substantial caseload without things slipping
- Professional maturity: you're steady under pressure, you own your work, and you communicate proactively
- A stable work history that shows you commit to the places you join
- Spanish fluency and Filevine experience are meaningful plusses
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000 to $95,000 base depending on experience
- Performance bonus eligibility
