Graphics 22 Signs is a bespoke architectural signage engineering and fabrication company based in Pittsburgh, PA. We design, produce and install everything from ADA and wayfinding systems to large-scale exterior monuments, plaques, vinyl graphics, and illuminated signage for universities, hospitals, apartments, government facilities, individual businesses and many others across the region. Every project we deliver is built with precision, pride, and purpose.
We’re looking for a Production Graphics Designer who’s hands-on, detail-driven, and takes pride in seeing their work move from the screen to real-world installations. This isn’t a “sit behind the monitor all day” design job — it’s a mix of digital production and physical craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Design, prepare, and output artwork for ADA, wayfinding, plaques, monument signs, custom signage and much much more!
- Operate wide-format printers, laminators, and flatbed machines
- Apply vinyl graphics to walls, windows, vehicles, and sign panels
- Set up and nest files for laser engraving, flatbeds, routers, etc.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure seamless production
- Assist with installations and field measurements as needed
- Maintain color accuracy, file organization, print material inventory, traffic inventory, among other things
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in sign production, graphics, or a related trade
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, FlexiSign, or similar design software
- Experience operating printers, plotters, laminators, and hand tools
- Comfortable in both digital and physical production environments
- Strong eye for detail, color, and layout accuracy
- Able to read and follow shop drawings and work orders
- Vinyl installation or CNC knowledge is a plus
