Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorizations for patient services.
- Manage insurance claims, payment posting, denial resolution, and billing system updates.
- Prepare patient estimates, billing statements, and process refunds.
- Resolve billing issues and perform collection activities to support account reconciliation.
- Coordinate surgery scheduling and ensure timely collection of patient balances.
- Support accurate coding, documentation, and general administrative operations.
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM
Pay Rate: $22 - $26/hr, depending on experience + benefits!
Location: In-person, Rochester, NY
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Associates preferred
- Hands on billing experience required
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
