Orthodontic Clinical Assistant (Experienced)

We are a growing orthodontic practice that recently celebrated our 1-year anniversary, and we’re excited to welcome an experienced Clinical Assistant to our team! We’ve built a strong foundation over our first year and are continuing to grow, improve, and build something special. We’re looking for someone who brings great energy, takes initiative, and enjoys being part of a team that works hard and supports each other.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience required
- Prior experience in an orthodontic setting preferred
- Able to confidently perform routine orthodontic procedures independently, including wire changes, placing attachments, taking intraoral scans/impressions, assisting with bracket bonding/debonding, appliance placement and removal, and other routine clinical procedures with minimal supervision
- Strong familiarity with dental terminology
- Excellent chairside manner with a strong focus on patient experience
- Knowledgeable and trained in OSHA and infection control protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-oriented mindset
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Someone who enjoys helping maintain and improve systems to support a smooth, efficient clinical flow
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside assisting during orthodontic procedures
- Taking records (photos, scans, x-rays, impressions as needed)
- Lab ordering and appliance tracking to ensure we are prepared for each patient scheduled
- Preparing and breaking down operatories while maintaining OSHA/infection control standards
- Supporting an efficient, positive clinical flow and patient experience
- Assisting in maintaining and improving clinical systems and organization

Compensation:
Pay dependent on experience, to be discussed upon application.
