Cultivating Kindness is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and reliable Direct Support Professional to join our community-based day program.
What You’ll Do
- Support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a fun, structured day program
- Participate in community outings, volunteer opportunities, life skills, crafts, fitness, and recreational activities
- Safely transport participants to activities using your personal vehicle
- Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, and daily living needs as needed
- Help create a positive, respectful, and engaging environment where every person can thrive
Who We’re Looking For
- Prior experience working in a day program serving adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities (required)
- Energetic, patient, and genuinely compassionate
- Dependable with excellent attendance and reliability
- Comfortable working as part of a supportive team
- Able to safely lift and assist individuals when needed
- Comfortable assisting with personal hygiene and exposure to bodily fluids
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass required background checks and complete all DODD-mandated trainings
Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time salaried position
- Monday–Friday only
- Flexible daytime hours between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No evenings No weekends No more than 40 hours per week
- Paid holidays
