Provide attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for members’ and guests’ children.

Create a comfortable, safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all children.

Remain alert and attentive to situations that may affect a child’s physical or emotional well-being.

Change diapers and pull-ups for younger children and assist with potty training as needed.

Organize and lead age-appropriate games, activities, arts and crafts, and other recreational activities.

Play games, read, and interact positively with children.
-
Monitor children closely and maintain appropriate supervision at all times.
-
Resolve conflicts and disputes between children calmly and appropriately.

Serve as a positive role model for children and coworkers.
-
Maintain accurate records for all children under supervision.
-
Ensure required medical forms and releases are completed and maintained.

Properly manage child sign-in and sign-out procedures.
-
Document and report all incidents involving children according to established procedures.

Communicate member comments, questions, and concerns to the Spa and Fitness Director or Spa and Fitness Supervisor.

Maintain professional and positive communication with members, guests, children, and coworkers.

Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and welcoming Kids Club environment.

Properly clean and disinfect toys, equipment, play surfaces, and other areas used by children.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children while they are in the Kids Club.

Follow all established childcare, safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures.

Act immediately and appropriately to protect children in the event of an emergency.

Understand and perform assigned responsibilities during emergency situations.

Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Attend staff meetings and required training sessions.

Support Spa and Fitness staff with appropriate duties when no children are attending Kids Club.

Work cooperatively with team members to provide a high level of service.

Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Previous childcare, babysitting, recreation, education, or customer service experience preferred.

Enjoys working with children and creating positive experiences for them.

Ability to remain attentive, patient, calm, and professional in a busy environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to interact effectively with children of different ages and personalities.
-
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

Dependable, responsible, and punctual.

Basic understanding of child safety and appropriate supervision practices.
-
CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications preferred.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and sit on the floor for extended periods.

Ability to actively participate in games, crafts, and other activities with children.

Ability to lift and carry children and/or supplies as needed.
-
Ability to safely supervise and respond quickly to children in an active environment.

Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.

Comfortable working in an active, sometimes noisy environment.

Ability to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
