FULL-TIME NIGHT POSITIONS
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, skilled, and trauma‑informed care to clients receiving treatment for substance use disorders and co‑occurring psychiatric conditions. This role supports multiple levels of care, including Medical Detox, Residential Substance Abuse, Residential Psychiatric, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP). The RN ensures safe withdrawal management, medication administration, and ongoing medical and psychiatric support in a structured therapeutic environment.
- Deliver nursing care across Detox, Residential SUD, Residential Psych, PHP, and IOP programs
- Complete medical and psychiatric intake assessments, including vitals, withdrawal scales, and risk evaluations
- Monitor clients for withdrawal symptoms, psychiatric instability, and medical changes
- Administer medications, including MAT and psychotropic medications per provider orders
- Conduct nursing group topics, including health education, medication awareness, wellness skills, and recovery‑focused medical education
- Collaborate with physicians, psychiatric providers, and clinical teams to support individualized treatment plans
- Document all nursing interventions in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Provide client education on medications, health conditions, and recovery‑related topics
- Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies using established protocols
- Support a safe, therapeutic, and recovery‑focused environment
- Participate in shift handoffs, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality‑improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- Experience in detox, psychiatric, or substance abuse treatment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of withdrawal management, psychiatric stabilization, and co‑occurring disorders
- Strong assessment, de‑escalation, and crisis‑intervention skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast‑paced or high‑acuity situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Experience
- Experience with CIWA/COWS, psychiatric assessments, and suicide‑risk screenings
- Familiarity with MAT protocols and psychotropic medication management
- Experience in residential or acute‑care behavioral health settings
Job Types: Full-time, PRN, Permanent, Per diem
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
