First Capital Poke Bar in Kingston, NY is looking for one Shift Lead to join our 9 person strong team. We are located on 310 Wall St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
Operations & Quality Control

Maintain Standards: Oversee daily cleanliness, health code compliance, and checklist completion.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of all customer orders and prep items (produce, proteins, sauces).
- Inventory & Prep: Manage weekly inventory reporting and prioritize prep lists to ensure zero item outages.
- Facility Oversight: Resolve minor building or equipment issues and escalate major concerns to upper management.
Team Leadership & Development

Staff Training: Lead the onboarding and "on-the-spot" coaching for both front and back-of-house staff.
- Performance Management: Coordinate daily tasks, motivate the team toward goals, and document employee corrections (tardiness, efficiency, etc.).
- Labor Management: Adjust staffing levels based on real-time sales volume and report schedule changes to management.
Customer Experience & Finance

Guest Relations: Interact with customers to ensure a positive experience and resolve any immediate complaints.
- Financial Accuracy: Accurately process and reconcile all shift payment transactions.
Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Prior leadership experience
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Able to resolve conflicts efficiently and professionally
- POS experience and basic math skills
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Full time availability
- Wage would be based upon experience, and does include tips on top of the hourly rate.
