Salary Range: $74,963.20 – $106,204.80* (starting wage contingent upon experience)
- plus 75 cent per hour shift differential
Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 11:00pm
Job Summary:
Supervises the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Iowa City parking and mass transit system. Oversees the customer service, cashiers, parking enforcement, PM parking and transit maintenance staff, PM transit operations and financial reporting operations including parking management software.
Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution; or four years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Business, Accounting, Management, or related. Valid State of Iowa driver’s license with satisfactory driving record. Valid State of Iowa Class B commercial driver’s license with air brakes and passenger endorsement required within 90 days of hire. Meet federal drug testing requirements. A pre-employment drug screen. Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and one year of related experience; or five years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in accounting.

Entry-level Driver Training (ELDT) for employees who need to obtain a required Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is provided by the City. Employees are provided paid time to complete ELDT and to take required CDL tests.
