Summary:
Works under the supervision of RNs and LPNs to provide assistive care and communication for patients, team members, professional, and technical staff, and visitors.
Other information:
- Candidate must have at least one of the following:
- Six months of patient care experience within the last two years.
- Enrolled in a medical related college program and in clinical rotation.
- CNA,CMA, PCT or EMT certification.

- Certified Medical Assistant ARMA
- Certified Patient Care Technician
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician ADPH
The Cardiac Care Unit is a 16 bed step-down telemetry unit that provides care for pediatric patients that require close monitoring for conditions such as: congenital or acquired heart disease; pre and/or post-operative care of patients with congenital or acquired heart disease; dysrhythmias; cardiomyopathy; pre and post-operative care of cardiac transplants; ventricular assist devices (VAD); and administration of continuous low dose vasoactive/inotropic infusions.
