Responsibilities

- Assist customers in identifying plants, tools, and supplies suitable for their projects or needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts using retail math principles
- Answer customer inquiries via phone communication promptly and professionally
- Promote e-commerce options by guiding customers on online orders or product availability online
Skills
- Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and gardening practices
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, retail math, and cash handling
- Ability to identify plants accurately and understand floral design principles
- Outgoing personality with outstanding customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences
- Organizational skills for stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and maintaining store displays
- Outdoor work experience preferred to handle physical tasks such as plant care or yard maintenance tasks effectively
