Position: Armed Security Officer (YOU NEED ARMED LICENSE)
Company: America Protective Security LLC (APS)
Location: AutoZone Store (retail) Washington, DC
Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday: 7:30 AM – 9:30 PM
- Sunday: 8 AM – 9:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide an armed security presence
- Protect property, staff, and customers by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor premises, prevent theft, and deter incidents through active observation and patrols.
- Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity.
- Complete accurate incident reports in compliance with APS policies and client requirements.
- Follow all firearm safety regulations and APS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements (Mandatory):
- Active DC Armed Security Guard License (Armed Guard Card) – must be valid at the time of application.
- Proven responsibility in firearm handling and adherence to all safety standards.
- Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, patrol, and respond during the entire shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
