American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience for a hospital operating room position requiring strong endovascular and cardiac/vascular case experience.

Work in a hospital Operating Room unit specializing in CVOR cases
-
Cardiovascular and vascular patient population requiring cardiac and endovascular procedures
-
PM shift, 10-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM
-
May be required to stay late 1-2 times per week to extend shift coverage (example: 6:40 AM to 7:10 PM)

On-call requirements include one overnight call (11 PM to 7 AM) per 4-week block

Weekend call requirement of 24 hours per 4-week block, which can be split into 12-hour shifts via self sign-up

Minimum of 18 months full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years

Must have proficiency levels of 3 or 4 for cardiac and vascular procedures

Strong endovascular experience required

License required if applicable

Assist in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures including cannulations, aorta cases, and endovascular procedures

Familiarity with both adult and congenital cardiac cases preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Former Emory or Houston Methodist staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility

RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days if falling on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment

RTO during holiday periods must be spread out rather than consecutive
