Winston Medical Staffing has multiple needs for NYS Licensed pharmacists - current openings are in Queens, Westchester, Long Island and Manhattan. These are 13 week assignments that may have the potential to convert to permanent roles in these hospitals. Various shifts including day, mid and night opportunities.
Location: Queens, NY
Previous experience working in a hospital is highly preferred!!
- Candidate must have a valid NY State Pharmacy License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy, and drug interactions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology for medication management
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in pharmacy practice
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on advancements in pharmacy practice
