As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Accounting Manager to help strengthen our financial operations and support data-driven decision-making.
Position Summary
The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires a strong understanding of GAAP, hands-on accounting experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, billing, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Oversee fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures
- Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with operations and billing teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies
- Mentor junior accounting staff as needed
- Oversee corporate office staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an asset-intensive or service-based industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (industry-specific systems a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial analysis and reporting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
