Position Overview
The Installer is responsible for safely loading, transporting, delivering, and installing furniture, fixtures, and equipment for residential and commercial clients. This role involves hands-on work, attention to detail, teamwork, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, enjoys physical activity, and takes pride in ensuring customer satisfaction.
For safety, communication, and operational effectiveness, candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to understand instructions, safety procedures, and customer communications.
Key Responsibilities

Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, equipment, and household goods.

Assemble, install, and position furniture and office systems per client specifications.

Use tools and equipment (dollies, straps, hand tools, etc.) properly and safely.

Protect property and belongings during moves through careful handling and packing.

Work closely with team members to plan efficient move routes and layouts.

Inspect items for damage before and after moves; report any issues to supervisor.

Maintain a clean and organized truck, equipment, and workspace.

Provide professional, courteous customer service throughout the moving process.

Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Previous experience in moving, delivery, or furniture installation a plus (training provided).

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly and safely.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for driver positions).

Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends if needed).
Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, and pulling.

Standing and moving for extended periods.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
