Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, efficient, and flexible Part-Time Vacation Rental Assistant Cleaner to work with our housekeeper, Bonnie, preparing our vacation rental properties for arriving guests.
This is an as-needed position with a changing schedule based on guest check-ins and check-outs. Some weeks may have more work than others, so flexibility is important.
The right person should be responsible, detail-oriented, able to work efficiently, and have excellent communication with Bonnie to coordinate schedules and divide the work.
There is potential for the position to grow over time.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and preparing vacation rental properties between guests
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, floors, patios/yard areas as needed
- Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, and make sure the property is ready for the next guests
- Change and organize linens and towels
- Restock basic guest and cleaning supplies
- Take out trash and leave the property clean and organized
- Communicate closely with Bonnie regarding scheduling, priorities, and division of work
- Report any damage, maintenance problems, or missing items
- Help make sure each property is completely ready before guest check-in
Requirements
- Excellent reliability and sense of responsibility
- Flexible availability, as cleaning days and hours vary according to bookings
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Previous housecleaning, Airbnb, vacation rental, or hotel housekeeping experience is preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to occasionally work weekends when required by guest turnovers

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
