Millcreek Township has a full-time opening for a Diesel Mechanic in Fleet Maintenance.
We are looking for an experienced individual to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance of vehicles and mechanical equipment of all Township departments. Previous experience with heavy duty trucks and construction equipment is strongly preferred.
Duties of a mechanic include the inspection, maintenance and repair of automobiles, trucks (light and heavy duty), emergency vehichles, and related equipment; perform preventative maintenance; body repair, touch up and related work; installation of emergency equipment; purchasing parts and supplies for repairs; maintain service records on maintenance, repair work and inspections.
