Texas Hill Country Vape and Smoke Shop is a rapidly expanding vape, smoke and cannabis shop. We have 5 locations in Austin and surrounding areas. Our shops are all unique with a fun and chill vibe. Our shops have pool and/or shuffleboard tables, big screen TVs, and a live glass blowing studio where we produce our own brand of glass (THC Glass Co.).
Starting pay is $9.00/hour during training, plus generous tips and commission that average an additional $5–$20/hour. Training is typically completed within approximately 30 days.
After successfully completing training, pay increases to $10.00/hour, plus tips and commission averaging an additional $5–$20/hour. Employees who complete and test out of training within the required timeframe and remain employed for 90 days are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus.
Overtime opportunities are available and are paid at time-and-a-half, plus tips. We also offer additional performance-based bonuses for representatives who consistently achieve sales goals and quotas.
Starting pay may be negotiable for applicants with prior vape, smoke shop, or related retail industry experience. Advancement opportunities into management positions are available for employees who demonstrate strong sales performance, leadership, and reliability.

Texas Hill Country Vape and Smoke Shop is looking for part time and full-time sales representatives for our Blanco location. We also have openings at our two stores in South Austin (one near Belterra and one at 1826 and Nutty Brown Road) and in Bee Cave. 1 year experience and/or knowledge in the vape, smoke and/or cannabis industry and 1 year experience in retail sales, customer service and cashiering is preferred. Reliable transportation a must. Applicants must be 21 years or older to apply.
Responsibilities:
This is a sales position where sales goals and sales quotas will need to be achieved to maintain employment. Bonuses available for those that meet sales goals and quotas. As part of your sales responsibilities, you will:
- Greet customers in a friendly and personable manner.
- Maintain professionalism to solve all customer related issues.
- Understand and explain our products and the benefits to customers and make suggestions based on their needs.
- Work through multiple daily checklists(opening and closing, petty cash, cleaning).
- Work on daily inventory counts by taking products out of the cases and off of the shelves, counting inventory and reporting numbers to the appropriate manager.
- Read and respond to texts in a timely manner and/or answer phone calls from management and follow through with any projects assigned for the day.
- Replenish stock levels, rotate products and keep cases and shelves clean, organized and presentable.
