Description: Maintain diesel equipment operations by completing inspections and preventative maintenance requirements and correcting vehicle deficiencies.
Responsibilities: Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, diagnose and identifying worn and damaged parts. Keep equipment available by completing preventative maintenance schedules, installing component and part upgrades, and completing winterization procedures. Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, and systems, such as power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics. Update vehicle records by noting services and repairs on the computer. Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance.
Qualifications Two plus years of experience preferred Certified diesel tech.
