The Division of Procurement and Contracts (DPAC) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the DPAC Communications Branch as a Web and Marketing Analyst.
The DPAC Communications Branch is a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the division through communications, website management, and training.
As the Web and Marketing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to create, design, and deliver projects, utilizing tools in areas such as website development, graphic design, CMS/HTML, marketing/surveys, creating newletter articles, market research and analysis, and document templates for trainings/presentations/manuals and guides. The tools you will use are Drupal, Sitecore, Articulate (Rise 360), and Microsoft 365 Product Family.
The Web and Marketing Analyst analyzes, develops, and maintains the DPAC internal and external websites; creates marketing materials and communications for the division; and actively participates in a variety of other projects that support DPAC’s goals and objectives. The analyst also reviews and remediates documents, maintains web accessibility, and ensures Caltrans. accessibility standards are followed.

This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans’s evolving telework policy. Caltrans supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquartered location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
While at the base of operation, the incumbent will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial light. However, due to periodic problems with heating and air conditioning, the building temperature may fluctuate. This position will also require the incumbent to be able to telework at DPAC Managements discretion and adhere to all DPAC Management policies and procedures governing this arrangement.
