Duties
- Perform custom modifications and upgrades on drift and race vehicles, including engine swaps, turbo installations, exhaust systems, and more.
- Diagnose and repair high-performance engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other critical components.
- Assist with tuning and calibration for optimal vehicle performance on the track.
- Install and adjust aftermarket performance parts, including wheels, tires, suspension kits, and safety equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, focusing on performance optimization.
- Work with clients to understand their specific racing or drifting needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly used and stored.
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct diesel engine repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Align wheels and perform suspension adjustments to enhance vehicle performance.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in the automotive industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
