We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Floating Maintenance Technician (Northside) to join our dynamic maintenance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across various properties, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining safe, functional living environments.
As a Floating Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure our communities remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained by:
- Completing resident service requests promptly while delivering excellent customer service.
- Performing apartment make-readies and preparing homes for new residents.
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, doors, windows, and other building components.
- Completing preventive maintenance and accurately documenting completed work.
- Conducting daily property inspections to identify maintenance concerns and maintain curb appeal.
- Assisting with community improvement projects as needed.
- Following all company safety policies and operating procedures.
- Participating in an on-call rotation approximately one week per month.
What We're Looking For
- At least one year of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- EPA Certification (Type II minimum required).
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple property teams.
- Reliable transportation.
- Personal hand tools required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
