Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Public Health. As a Public Health Nurse, you will serve as a vital link between clinical expertise and community wellness. You will provide direct, high-quality nursing care in a public health clinic setting, including family planning, cancer detection, STD assessment, and treatment. This role is built on precision and accountability, requiring adherence to state and federal protocols to ensure the health of the community and the integrity of clinical programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for clients within Family Planning, Immunizations, and STD and Cancer Detection programs, including: clinical assessments, screenings, specimen collection, medication dispensing and administration, extensive patient education, and follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirement: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with either an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Pay: $41,268.00 - $69,012.00 per year
