We are looking for a dedicated, Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, health education, and the management of chronic conditions while also managing musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. You will be credentialed as a primary care provider and will have a panel of primary care patients. You would also get to treat patients with orthopaedic and/or opioid use disorders/diagnoses. You’ll be both a healthcare provider and an educator, and would work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and manage non-surgical musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
- Provide preventive care services, including immunizations and health coaching.
- Engage in patient education regarding lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Perform IV infusions
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Oversee patients’ overall health and promote good health practices
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years as a Nurse Practitioner
- Valid unrestricted Nurse Practitoner License
- Valid DEA number
- Expertise in an outpatient clinic
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Familiarity with an electronic medical record system
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in an outpatient Orthopaedic clinic is a plus but is not required as long as you are willing to learn
- Previous experience in an Urgent Care Center is a plus but is not required
- Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Certification is required, provider must be willing to get this certification within one month of employment
Ability to commute/relocate:
The role requires regular travel between our Rittenhouse Square and Northeast locations in Philadelphia.

Pay: $109,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
