Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part time Direct Support Professional to provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, patient care, and a strong understanding of the unique needs of individuals in various care settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, and memory care environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Implement personal care plans tailored to each individual's needs and preferences.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and personal growth.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients in community integration activities to enhance their independence.
