We are seeking an experienced senior engineer for an interesting mix of expert consulting services and applied research in aero-vibro-acoustics; with near term career path to Principal Engineer and partner in the business.
Our company (www.aerohydroplus.acom) is one of the technology founders of modern aero-vibro-acoustics (AVA) engineering. Our assets include AVA simulation software licensed by major OEMs and patented high precision aero-acoustic test instruments. Our customers include space industry, aircraft/UAM/electric rotorcraft, automotive (wind, road & HVAC noise) and other advanced engineering OEMs, worldwide.
Your day-to-day work is this role will consist:
· Engaging as aero-vibro-acoustics expert consultant to support our customers’ advanced engineering projects
· Managing and technically directing work by other engineers and subcontractors
· Applied research to develop the company’s core technology products, patents and services.
· Authoring technical papers for journals and presentation at engineering conferences worldwide
A post graduate PhD or Masters in relevant field of engineering or physics is preferred, or strictly equivalent qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate relevant aero-acoustic engineering skills and experience in wind tunnel testing and/or computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. Alternatively or in addition, engineering skills and experience in vibro-acoustic simulation, preferably including aero-acoustic source / loading applications would be valuable.
