Excavation and Landscaping Company looking for experienced Operator to run various types of construction equipment. Must be able to work in tight areas and around live utilities. Minimum of 5 years experience. Candidate must also be willing to multi task and work well with Laborer's and others on job site. Duties
- Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety.
- Perform excavation tasks including trenching, digging foundations, grading slopes, and site leveling for construction or landscaping projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clear communication with team members during operations.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and project progress to support efficient workflow.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks. Minimum 5 years.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Prior construction experience with a focus on excavation or landscaping projects is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles such as dump trucks is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation on construction sites is essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.
