Job Summary:
Established in 1930, Kenwood Country Club is the premier family club in the Cincinnati area and one of the top Clubs in the Midwest. The club offers tremendous facilities including two championship, 18-hole golf courses, tennis, paddle tennis, state-of-the-art fitness center, an expansive pool and pavilion area, and a sophistically renovated clubhouse. The club has a total of 925 members and remains on a waitlist of approximately two years for social membership and five years for golf membership.

The club seeks to hire a Banquet Server. The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience during events by setting up banquet spaces, providing food and beverage service, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event. This role plays a key part in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all guests and members.
Job Description:

Set up banquet rooms prior to events, including placing linens, tableware, centerpieces, and chairs.

Fill water glasses and assist with buffet setup, ensuring all stations are clean and fully stocked.

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and respond to their needs promptly.

Take and deliver drink orders in a timely and accurate fashion.

Serve plated meals efficiently, following event timing and service standards.

Clear used plates, glassware, and utensils discreetly throughout the event.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet area before, during, and after the event.

Assist with post-event breakdown and resetting the event space as required.

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, event coordinators, and fellow servers.

Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests by providing outstanding customer service.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in banquet or restaurant service preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

This is a full-time or part-time hourly position. Health, dental, and vision insurance per the Kenwood Country Club employee benefit package are provided to full-time employees. Family insurance coverage is available with employee contributions.
