Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Move Supervisor to oversee moving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving and customer service, ensuring that all moves are executed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team of movers while maintaining excellent customer service.
Duties
- Execute moving operations from start to finish.
- Supervise and lead a team of movers during residential and commercial relocations.
- Ensure all equipment, including box trucks are maintained and operated safely.
- Manage route driving logistics to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Handle heavy lifting and assist with loading and unloading of items as needed.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the moving process.
Experience
- Proven experience in moving or logistics management is preferred.
- Familiarity with delivery driving, route driving, and commercial driving practices.
- Experience operating box trucks and forklifts is highly desirable.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks associated with moving operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on safety protocols in the workplace.
- Previous experience as a courier or in a similar role is beneficial.
