Responsibilities:
- Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the cook and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Support catering and banquet events by washing dishes and maintaining a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Note: This position may be located in a restaurant, hotel, catering company, or other food service establishment.
