NEED A VERY FLEXIBLE PERSON: Days per week vary, some weeks there may be no orders, some weeks it could be 1 day and other weeks up to 3 days Monday thru Friday. It ranges from 2 – 4 hours each time depending on the amount of cheese to package. This position needs to be flexible depending on when orders are received
Location: Henning Cheese located approximately 6 miles northeast of Kiel, WI
Pay: $19/hr.
We are a small, fourth-generation family cheese company dedicated to traditional craftsmanship and quality. We’re seeking dependable individuals with a great positive attitude and a strong work ethic to assist with packaging our artisan cheeses.
Position Overview
This is a part-time, flexible position that varies depending on production needs as explained above.
Primary Responsibilities
- Packaging 11-pound wheels of cheese
- Performing end-of-shift sanitation and cleanup
- Assisting as needed to ensure smooth production flow
- Being flexible to help in other areas
Schedule
- Start Time: 3:30 a.m.
- End Time: Typically, between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., depending on production volume
- Days: based on orders as explained above – 0 days up to 3 days a week.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
- Great Attitude and gets along with people
- Good physical stamina (this job may be difficult for those with back or leg issues)
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent attendance, honesty, and a positive attitude
- Ability to speak and understand English
- United States citizenship required
- No jewelry of any kind is permitted while working (for safety and sanitation)
