Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information on features and benefits
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Support banking-related activities such as basic math calculations, loan processing, and financial software usage
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor to ensure an inviting shopping experience
- Process transactions efficiently using 10 key typing skills and retail math expertise
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the shopping experience
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial software navigation
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members
- Ability to perform cashiering duties including cash handling, cash management, and 10 key typing tasks accurately
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with retail environments
