Duties

- Monitor manufacturing processes, interpret production documents, and ensure compliance with safety standards and quality specifications.
- Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and reducing waste.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks and manual handling procedures safely, utilizing appropriate equipment such as forklifts and power tools.
- Conduct regular safety audits, enforce safety protocol adherence, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
- Utilize measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to verify product specifications and assembly accuracy.
- Provide training on mechanical assembly, use of hand tools, and factory equipment to team members for skill development and operational consistency.
Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing or factory environments with strong knowledge of production processes.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and utilize measuring instruments effectively.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other factory equipment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing management systems, process improvement strategies, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to manage production or assembly teams efficiently while fostering teamwork and high performance.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting protocols and manual handling procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to interpret complex production documents accurately.
- Technical proficiency in using measuring devices, interpreting technical drawings, and managing manufacturing documentation.
