Responsibilities:
- Maintain security and control within a correctional facility
- Monitor inmate activities and behavior
- Conduct searches of inmates and their living areas
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Respond to emergencies and disturbances
- Write reports detailing incidents and activities
- Custodial duties
Experience:
- Familiarity with report writing and documentation
- Ability to operate CCTV and other security equipment
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with inmates
- CPR and first aid certification is a plus
- Must have a driver's license

Applicants must pass a thorough background check, including criminal history, and be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. We will not hire people with Felonies, on the SVOR registry, violent misdemeanors, or a DUI in the last 3 years.
