We are looking for a friendly and observant Retail Door Greeter to be the face of our store. In this role, you will welcome incoming customers, provide a positive first impression, guide shoppers to the right departments, and help maintain a safe, secure shopping environment.
Customer Service: Warmly welcome customers as they enter, offer shopping carts, direct them to specific departments, and thank them as they exit.
Loss Prevention Support: Maintain a visible presence at the main entrance to deter theft, monitor suspicious activity, and verify receipts for large or unbagged items when necessary.
Communication: Announce daily promotions, special sales, or store policies (such as bag checks) to entering guests.
Front-End Maintenance: Keep the entrance, lobby, and cart return areas clean, organized, and free of hazards or debris.
Safety & Compliance: Assist management in monitoring guest capacity or safety protocols, and report any security concerns immediately.
Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or security is a plus, but not required.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; a friendly and professional demeanor.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to an entire shift) and lift up to 25 lbs if moving shopping carts.
Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
