The Community Partnerships & Outreach Coordinator serves as an ambassador for Invested Health Center by developing relationships that improve healthcare access, strengthen referral networks, and increase awareness of our services throughout the community.
This is a highly visible, relationship-focused position for someone who enjoys networking, community engagement, and connecting people with the healthcare resources they need. You’ll work closely with community organizations, healthcare providers, hospitals, businesses, schools, and public health partners while coordinating outreach events and helping expand our community presence.
This position also collaborates with leadership and external marketing partners to support community awareness campaigns and outreach initiatives while ensuring all activities align with Invested Health Center’s mission and values.

Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, nonprofit agencies, advocacy groups, businesses, schools, and government organizations.

Build partnerships that improve access to healthcare and support community health initiatives.

Represent Invested Health Center at networking events, coalition meetings, community forums, and professional organizations.

Identify new opportunities to expand community engagement and strategic partnerships.

Build referral relationships with physician offices, specialists, hospitals, urgent care centers, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare organizations.

Conduct outreach visits to healthcare providers throughout Central Florida.

Educate referral partners about Invested Health Center’s services and referral process.

Coordinate provider presentations and educational meetings.

Coordinate community outreach events, health fairs, educational programs, and HIV/STI testing initiatives.

Support Department of Health outreach requirements and community education efforts.

Assist with future mobile testing initiatives and community-based services.

Coordinate volunteers and outreach logistics as needed.

Work with leadership to identify outreach priorities and partnership opportunities.

Coordinate community event promotion with external marketing partners.

Maintain outreach materials, educational resources, and promotional displays.

Track outreach activities and partnership development.

Assist with grant-related outreach initiatives and reporting.

Minimum 3 years of experience in community outreach, healthcare outreach, provider relations, nonprofit engagement, public health, business development, or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Social Work, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Authorization to work in the United States.

Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit organizations, or public health.

Experience developing referral relationships with healthcare providers.

Experience coordinating community events or health fairs.

Experience in HIV prevention, sexual health, or community health initiatives.

Portuguese language proficiency.

Familiarity with Central Florida healthcare and community organizations.
