Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our legal team. Duties
- Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing documents, drafting legal correspondence, and reviewing case files using document management systems such as Time Matters.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies across various practice areas..
- Manage client communications professionally through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and clarity at all times.
- Support procedural law compliance by preparing pleadings, filing documents with courts, and maintaining accurate case records in legal case management software.
- Perform document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy in legal drafting, discovery materials, and court submissions.
- Coordinate interviews with clients and witnesses for trials while maintaining detailed notes for case development.
- Assist with project management tasks such as scheduling deadlines, tracking case progress, and supporting multiple litigation or transactional projects simultaneously.
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, maintaining organized files both physically and electronically, and supporting executive administrative functions as needed.
- Answering client calls professionally
Experience
- Proven paralegal or legal assistant experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procedural law and familiarity with legal research tools.
- Experience with legal support software and case management platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in document review, proofreading, and data entry tasks.
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal correspondence, reports, summaries, and client communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills including interviewing clients or witnesses effectively and maintaining professional phone etiquette.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
