Traveling Superintendent – Light Industrial / Commercial Construction

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up commercial and light industrial construction projects throughout the Midwest. The Superintendent will manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from site work through final turnover
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and field personnel
- Maintain project schedules and 3-week look-ahead plans
- Monitor budgets, costs, and change orders
- Ensure jobsite safety and compliance
- Complete daily reports, RFIs, project documentation, and quality control
- Coordinate punch lists and project closeout
Qualifications:
- 5+ years as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
- Ground-up commercial construction experience required
- Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, safety, RFIs, and project documentation
- Diverse project experience preferred, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, multifamily, senior living, or similar markets
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Stable work history with solid tenure

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
