About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandising Planogram Specialist to support retail merchandising initiatives and drive product performance across multiple store locations. This role will focus on shelf optimization, category analysis, planogram development, and collaboration with sales and merchandising teams to maximize product visibility and sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, update, and maintain retail planograms to improve product placement and category performance.
- Analyze sales trends, market data, and consumer purchasing behavior to support merchandising decisions.
- Partner with sales, category management, and retail teams to develop effective merchandising strategies.
- Review product assortment and shelf space allocation to identify opportunities for growth and improved profitability.
- Conduct store visits to evaluate merchandising execution, shelf conditions, and compliance with planogram standards.
- Generate reports and provide recommendations based on performance metrics and retail insights.
- Support new product launches, category resets, and merchandising projects.
- Utilize merchandising and space planning software to create efficient and effective shelf layouts.
- Assist with ongoing process improvements and best practices related to merchandising and category management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in merchandising, category management, space planning, or planogram development.
- Experience working with planogram software such as Spaceman, JDA, Blue Yonder, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Preferred Background
- Experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG), food and beverage, grocery, or retail industries.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising principles, assortment planning, and category performance analysis.
- Comfortable conducting occasional field visits to retail locations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
