NextGen Impact Council Member Volunteer Leadership Opportunity (Unpaid)
The Bronx Community Foundation is seeking ambitious emerging professionals to join our NextGen Impact Council, a volunteer leadership community that brings together rising leaders committed to advancing equity and opportunity across the Bronx.
This is not an employment opportunity. It is a one-year volunteer leadership appointment for professionals who want to leverage their networks, expertise, and influence to create meaningful community impact while developing as philanthropic leaders.
About the Foundation
The Bronx Community Foundation invests in community power to eradicate inequity and build sustainable futures for Bronx residents. Since our founding, we've invested more than $15 million, engaged over 1,000 community members, and impacted more than 275,000 Bronxites through investments in economic security, digital equity, health, and justice.
Responsibilities
Council Members serve as ambassadors for the Foundation by:
- Serve a one-year term (renewable)
- Attend quarterly convenings with BxCF leadership
- Lead two major fundraising initiatives yearly
- Champion BxCF as an advocate, ambassador, and organizational leader
- Partner with the leadership team to expand resources, impact, and visibility
- Engage with stakeholders through events, press appearances, and convenings

Time Commitment
- One-year volunteer term (renewable)

Financial Commitment
Council members are expected to support a give/get commitment of $10,000 annually through personal giving and/or fundraising.
