Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with beverage recipe development and suggest new drink ideas to enhance the menu offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and manage beverage storage responsibly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for billing, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume settings; experience with banquet or catering service is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with food handling and safety regulations.
- Expertise in cocktail creation, wine knowledge, brewing techniques, and craft beer experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize duties during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous bar management or serving experience is preferred; hospitality or food industry background highly valued.
