A wonderful family in the Appleton area is seeking to find a respite care provider for their three-year-old daughter with special needs. This respite provider would also help as needed at the family's local daycare when the full- time staff is unavailable. In this position, the respite provider would help this family make sure their daughter is safe and engaged in activities either in the home or in the community.

Daycare Hours:
(This family is seeking to find a backup applicant)
- Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Respite Hours:
- As-needed respite on weekends and weekdays
Pay Rate:
- $17.97 /Hour
Respite care needs:
- Talk with family about what you will be doing for the day
- Offer emotional support when needed
- Attending with in-home and community outing activities
- Toileting
- Dressing
- Help with nap times
- Snack time
Daycare support:
- Meet the parent at the daycare facility
- 1:1 support in group activities
- Assist with helping the child with activities at the daycare
- Safety and supervision
- Toileting, Dressing
- Assist with snack time
- Respite care
Families' Ideal Candidate:
- Valid Driver’s Licenses and reliable vehicle to get to and from work
- High schoolers are welcome to apply
- Full-time College students are welcome to apply
- Able to pass a Wisconsin background check
- Sweet, kind, caring, friendly
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Committed to providing care for children with special needs.
