Advanced Polymer Technology, a leading chemical manufacturer of polymer based products used in both the recreational and construction industry has immediate openings for experienced and entry level production workers.
This is a full-time position with a rotating shift schedule that may consist of either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts. Work schedules and shift lengths may fluctuate based on business and operational needs.
The starting rate is $24/hr with room for advancement.
As a production associate at APT, you will be required to operate a forklift and comply with safety regulations and PPE requirements while manufacturing a variety of synthetic coatings. Production associates are required to follow formulas (a list of ingredients) in order to produce a finished good and then pour into pails, drums and totes. We take pride in our clean work space and all employees are required to clean up and utilize good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications
- Factory and manufacturing facility experience
- Familiarity with manual handling, and adherence to safety regulations
- Ability to interpret production documents, maintain organized workspaces, and support process improvements
- Material handling and equipment operation awareness; forklift experience is a plus
- Strong attention to quality, sanitation procedures, and maintaining clean work areas
