Job Summary
Join our tree care team as a Tree Climber and Tree Service Worker, where you will play a role in maintaining healthy, beautiful, and safe urban and rural landscapes. This position involves climbing trees, performing pruning, trimming, and rigging operations, and utilizing equipment to ensure the safety and aesthetics of trees. You will help enhance community green spaces while ensuring safety standards are met through skilled tree care practices. Duties
- Climb trees safely using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
- Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches efficiently.
- Use chainsaws and other hand tools to cut branches, remove deadwood, or clear hazardous limbs.
- Rig heavy limbs or sections of trees for safe lowering using rigging techniques and equipment.
- Conduct tree assessments to identify health issues or hazards.
- Plant pruning care, tree trimming to promote healthy growth.

Experience
- Previous experience in arboriculture, tree care or landscaping is a +.
- Experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging equipment is a +.
- Understanding of tree species (dendrology) and horticulture principles.
- Working safely at heights using climbing gear and harnesses.
- Experience in tree care or horticulture fields and relevant certifications are a +.
- Starting positions are available.
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
