Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, particularly those with dementia or in hospice care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous caregiving experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children or in assisted living environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices and hospice care principles.
- Medication administration required. (Training and Certifications provided if needed)
