HR Mango is recruiting for a client seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily distribution center operations. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately put away inbound shipments while verifying quantities and product condition.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Palletize, wrap, label, and prepare outbound shipments according to company standards.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.
- Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
- Keep aisles, docks, and work areas safe and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines.
- Attend safety meetings and participate in ongoing training initiatives.
- Operate material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks (EPJ), reach trucks, and cherry pickers when certified.
- Support cross-training efforts and assist other departments as business needs require.
- Work overtime during peak periods as needed.
Qualifications
- 6+ months of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving for extended periods (8–10 hour shifts).
- Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification is a plus or willingness to obtain certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
