Second Block Hospitality's Bodhi Kitchen and Drift Seafood & Raw Bar, both in downtown Rehoboth Beach, is looking for a Prep Cook and a Line Cook.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Prep/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and plate dishes efficiently during service hours, maintaining high quality and presentation
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability
- Follow food handling procedures to uphold safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and flavor
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant experience with a focus on quality service
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in menu planning, food industry operations, or culinary roles preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
