Full-Time | Construction & Multifamily Renovation
We are looking for an experienced Skilled Construction Technician / Installer who can handle a variety of construction installations, repairs, renovations, and punch-list work.
This is not an entry-level laborer position. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on construction skills who can receive an assignment, evaluate the existing conditions, determine what needs to be done, and complete quality work without constant supervision.
Our projects primarily involve apartment renovations, repairs, and improvements, including work in occupied multifamily properties.
What You'll Be Doing
Typical work may include:
*General construction repairs and punch-list work
*Cabinet installation, modification, adjustment, and repair
*Installing baseboards, casing, trim, shelving, and finish carpentry
*Door installation, adjustment, hardware replacement, and repairs
*Drywall removal, patching, taping, texturing, and repair
*Painting, touch-up work, caulking, and finish repairs
*Flooring repairs, transitions, thresholds, and baseboard installation
*Appliance installation, leveling, adjustment, and securing Countertop and accessory installation
*Minor framing, blocking, backing, and structural support work
*Faucet, sink, drain, P-trap, supply line, and similar minor plumbing-related repairs when permitted
*Identifying and troubleshooting leaks, damaged materials, and construction deficiencies
*Demolition and preparation required to complete repairs and installations
*Repairing damaged walls, ceilings, cabinets, flooring, trim, hardware, and other building components
*Completing detailed unit turns and construction punch lists
We're Looking for Someone Who Can
*Measure, layout, cut, modify, and install materials accurately
*Read a tape measure and understand basic construction drawings
*Use levels and lasers to produce level, plumb, square, and properly aligned installations
*Troubleshoot installation and repair problems in the field
*Determine whether something can be repaired or needs to be replaced
*Make practical field adjustments when existing conditions are not perfect Identify the correct fasteners, anchors, adhesives, and installation methods for different materials
*Recognize potential problems before they create rework
*Work independently while knowing when to ask a supervisor or specialty trade for assistance
*Take pride in producing clean, professional finished work
Tool Experience
Candidates should be comfortable safely using common construction tools, including:
*Circular saws, Miter saws, Table saws, Reciprocating saws, Jig saws
*Oscillating multi-tools
*Drills and impact drivers
*Hammer drills and rotary hammers
*Grinders
*Finish and brad nailers
*Sanders
*Drywall tools
*Carpentry and plumbing hand tools
*Laser levels and standard layout tools
*Ladders and other common construction equipment

Preferred Experience
*3+ years of hands-on construction, renovation, installation, maintenance, or repair experience
*Experience across multiple construction trades or skill areas
*Multifamily or apartment renovation experience preferred
*Experience working in occupied residential properties is a plus
*Ability to independently complete common construction installations and repairs
*Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to perform physical construction work throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to safely lift and carry construction materials and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds, with assistance used for heavier materials when appropriate.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00
